1. Ko Chi - Stork island. Drift dive. Strong current flow south-north or north-south. Depth 9-22m. Sharks are common here in
shallow water. Turtles, many fishes. Underwater caves and boulders. Suitable for snorkeling only if have no waves and current.
2. Hin Rap - Castle Rock . Isolated rock. Drift dive. Depth 12-25m. Large boulders with caverns and archways on 24m deep.
Turtles and big fishes. Snorkeling possible on western part, if no strong current with depth 5m.
3. Hin Kong . Small group of granite outcrops. Good for snorkeling . Depth 5-22m. Underwater arches and caves. Many fishes.
4. Turtle Ledge . Reef flat at 3m running along Koh Surin Tai island. Best place for snorkeling. The most impressive place for live
corals. Depth 5-25m. A lot of coral fishes. Drift dive in some days. Wide diversity of marine life.
5. Koh Torinla. Drift dive west-east. Good place for snorkeling in shallow water. Collection of boulders and small fishes.
6. Southeast Point. Depth 5-25m. Drift dive. Protected area from waves. Not so impressive . Usual place for yacht mooring.
7. Richelieu rock. Probably the best dive site in Thailand. Isolated pinnacle 14km east of Ko Surin islands. Depth 5-35m. Can be
very strong current and waves. Not suitable for unexperienced divers. At low tide, without waves very impressive snorkeling around
rock.
Lots of big and small fishes,include whale sharks, groupers, manta rays, barracuda etc.. Minimum 2 dives recommended. Very good
visibility - paradise for underwater photographers.
