The Similan Islands National Park has nine uninhabited islands that are densely wooded and boast a number of beautiful white sand beaches. Below the waterline, the Similans offer huge boulders with swim-through, cracks and overhangs. The Surin Islands and Richelieu Rock are personal favorites with chances to observe octopus, mating cuttlefish and schooling barracudas, plus chance encounters with shovelnose rays.
